Job Description: Assist with scheduling and supervision of Team Members, day-to-day flow of the department, and maintaining Prepared Foods displays. Support the Prepared Foods Team Leader and Associate Team Leaders to ensure smooth operation. Provide courteous service to customers and Team Members at all times. Maintain a positive company image and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members.
  
• Train Team Members in a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
  
• Assist in training of new Team Members, utilizing learning checklists and training materials.
  
• Maintain clean and well-stocked cases and shelves.
  
• Open and close the department according to established procedures.
  
• Ensure all necessary breaks are given.
  
• Communicate team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
  
• Set and achieve the highest standards of retail execution.
  
• Foster a positive environment of teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
  
• Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs.
  
• Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel Team Members.
  
• Provide performance evaluations.
  
• Communicate and model WFM vision and goals.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Lift 50 pounds.
      
    • Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
      
    • Use hands for grasping, manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
      
    • Bend, twist, squat, and reach.
      
    • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
      
    • Work in wet and dry conditions.
      
    • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
      
      Requirements:

      • 12+ months retail experience.
