Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for the clinical programming,
supervision, and oversight of Adult Clinical Services. Duties
include coordination of outpatient clinical services, licensure
supervision, clinical documentation review of services by clinical
staff (therapists, behavioral health professionals, and behavioral
health techs), clinical consult for all staff on site, and leading
clinical staffings on site with all professional disciplines.
Clinical Services Manager monitors existing services for quality
service delivery, participates in program development, and
coordination of policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Services Manager oversees all aspects of clinical service
delivery for Adult clients of Polara Health. Provides clinical
oversight and supervision as well as intern supervision to Adult
Services staff. Serves as the therapeutic and outpatient services
clinical expert in consultation within and across departments
(including, but not limited to, Vocational Services, Peer Support,
Therapy, Case Management, CFD, psychiatric care, nursing). Works
with the Operations Manager and Clinical Directors, as well as
other departments, to ensure quality clinical services are being
offered and meeting quality outcomes. Partners with Operations
Manager in recruitment of clinical staff. Prepares and provides
clinical reviews of staff to support Operations Manager in
performance evaluation as needed. The Clinical Services Manager is
an active member of the organization leadership team, participates
in leadership meetings and completes tasks as appropriate to
clinical service delivery and quality across Adult services.
Partners with Quality Department to address and lead clinical
quality improvement projects. Other duties as assigned in support
of Clinical Services This position is a managerial position with a
high degree of responsibility. This position carries a high level
of exposure to confidential and proprietary information. Includes
personnel, business, clinical and other private information.
Position requires a high level of independent judgement, autonomy
and responsibility. This position requires a great deal of public,
client and collegial contact. It calls for strong public relations
skills and problem-solving skills involving diplomacy and
sensitivity.QUALIFICATIONS21 years of age or older; or minimum 18
years old and licensed or certified under A.R.S. Title 32 and
providing services within the personnel members scope of practice;
or minimum 18 years old for select administrative positionsMust be
able to provide or obtain an AZDPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance
CardMust possess and maintain a valid Driver License, current
automobile insurance, and a driving record that meets the
guidelines and requirements of the organization Master's degree in
Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field Current
licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed
Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or similar license in the state of
Arizona.Experience in one or more of the following fields: Social
Work, Psychology, Health Care Administration, CounselingExperience
navigating behavioral health care systemsMinimum of 3 years
clinical work with adults and 1 year minimum in a behavioral health
leadership roleKnowledge of managed care and health care
