Sophos Speech and Academics is seeking an educator loves students and wants to teach in the ways that they, as a trusted instructor, believe are best.



Our ideal candidate is available between the hours of 10-6 pm, M- F; however, instructors have the ability to make their own schedule.



Our ideal candidate is personable, knowledgeable, and relationship-focused.



This position will work closely with parents and teachers to craft instruction that best suits the individual needs of students.

Responsibilities:
--- Prepare for academic sessions
--- Built rapport with the student
--- Establish session expectations
--- Assess student academic needs
--- Provide student-centered instruction
--- Collaborate with teachers and other private instructors
--- Analyze student progress
--- Adjust instruction
--- Conference with parents
